The sixty-first edition of the Amateur Drama Festival-Kochani took place May 20-25, 2024. The repertoire was very rich, with more than fifteen plays from different cities in Macedonia and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n

The comedy “Somnitelno lice\/Suspicious Face” by Branislav Nu\u0161i\u0107, directed by Julijana Mir\u010devska, and performed by the Babec Theater School from Bitola, also successfully participated in the festival, with the award in the category for best leading actress going to Veda Mavrovska for the role of Zhivka.<\/p>\n

The jury’s explanation: “She is being awarded because she best and most convincingly interpreted the character of Zhivka. She masterfully captured the comic moments in the play, as well as the excellent acting discipline and technique on stage.”<\/p>\n
